DESCRIPTION:The Art and Craft of Bird Photography\nLocation: Hunts Photo\, Melrose\, MA\nDate: Saturday September 30\, 2017\nTime: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM \nShawn Carey and Michael Milicia will lead this one-day seminar crammed with tips and techniques that will help bring your avian imagery to the next level. \nTopics will include fieldcraft\, composition\, exposure\, autofocus\, histograms\, minimizing noise\, camera setup\, flight photography\, and a brief primer on getting started with video. There will also be a discussion about bird photography hot spots in New England and beyond\, as well as some tips for traveling with your gear. \nThe program will close with a general Q&A session. The content and presentation will be suitable for beginners as well as more experienced bird photographers. \nPlease note: This event is lecture-based and will go very deep into discussion about how and where to best photograph. However\, there will be no photographing. To conserve on space\, please keep any gear that you are bringing to a minimum. We would recommend only a camera\, a notepad and pen.
