SUMMARY:Westborough Community Land Trust
DESCRIPTION:Epic Juorneys \nEach year millions of shorebirds make an amazing round-trip journey between the northern and southern hemisphere. Migration Productions’ stunning video\, “Epic Journeys\,” by Shawn Carey and Jim Grady looks at three shorebird species—red knot\, piping plover and semipalmated sandpiper—and the challenges these species face during each of their monumental annual treks. Interviews and footage were shot on Plymouth Beach and South Beach in Massachusetts\, the Bay of Fundy in Canada\, and Cape May/Delaware Bay area in New Jersey \nSemipalmated Sandpipers (Bay of Fundy)\n

SUMMARY:Cape Cod View Finders
DESCRIPTION:Cape Cod View Finders end of year banquet & awards. \nPhotographing in the Land of the Midnight Sun \nIceland abounds in natural splendor: Waterfalls and glaciers\, panoramic views and otherworldly landscapes. It is a land of Northern Lights and midnight sun. And it is the realm of one of the world’s most charming and iconic birds: the Atlantic Puffin.  But Iceland is home to much more. During the summer months\, Iceland’s round-the-clock sunlight draws in a panoply of birds: Razorbills and guillemots\, phalaropes and godwits\, plovers and terns\, all accompany the puffins in nesting frenzy. Come along with wildlife photographer and Mass Audubon instructor Shawn Carey as he shares images and stories from his recent journey across Iceland\, from the island of Flatey\, to the bird cliffs of Latabarg\, to the Reykjavik peninsula. \nRazorbill

SUMMARY:South Shore Bird Club "Photosharing"
DESCRIPTION:South Shore Bird Club annual members Photosharing. \nShare your best bird pictures of the year\, the most fun behavior\, the quirkiest birds\, the most wonderful plumages …\nThe easiest way to bring images is on a thumb-drive\, DO NOT arrive with files on a disk. Anyone that arrives with photos on a disk will be out of luck! \nPlease name your images with your name (esmith) and a number. Make sure there are at least always TWO digits even for the single digit numbers. (esmith 01… esmith10..)\nThis will make sure that the images are ordered correctly when displayed. Lightroom can easily do this.\nWe recommend resizing your images to match the projector that we are using. It has a resolution of 1920 x 1200. It isn’t required\, but can’t guarantee the quality of the image if you don’t \nPlease limit the number of images shown to 10 minutes.\nPlease name the birds as you show the pictures! \nBlack Skimmer
